Elizabeth is a Ph.D. candidate whose research interests include post-conflict studies, security sector reform, and transitional justice. She moved often as a child and traveled to Costa Rica and Argentina as a undergraduate student. These travels fostered her interest in global affairs and cultivated her Spanish. She moved from Alaska to complete her education at Rutgers in 2010, where she received her M.S. in Global Affairs in 2012. Prior to graduate school, she worked at several Alaska non-profits in fund development and volunteer recruitment. This refined her public speaking skills and interest in justice. She currently resides in Philadelphia with her family and enjoys photography.
